Your Voice in the halls of Congress and the state Capitol!

GCSECA evaluates proposed legislation, offers testimony and communicates with legislators, both state and federal, regarding matters important to the cooperatives. Electric cooperatives differ significantly in ownership structure and purpose from other electric utilities. As private, not-for-profit, consumer-owned businesses, they bring a consumer-oriented perspective on legislation and regulation affecting the wholesale energy market and other aspects of the electric industry.

Your government relations team maintains a constant presence at the state capitol and works with Arizona's Congressional delegation to deliver the cooperative message to policy makers. GCSECA also makes it possible for Co-ops to tell their own story by keeping our members informed and coordinating grassroots activities.
