Two Board Leadership Courses will be offered in 2019:

964.1 — Communicating the New Energy Landscape: Held Thursday, January 31, 2019.

929.1 — Current Governance Issues in Policy Development: Taught Thursday, July 25, 2019. This course will be held at the Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ.

Hi-Line Staking Technician Certification Training

GCSECA is offering a Staking Technician Certification program hosted by Hi-Line Engineering and Mohave Electric Cooperative on March 9 – 13, 2020.

This is a 4-day course that will be held at Mohave Electric Cooperative’s grounds and taught by Hi-Line Engineering. The training program is designed to educate and equip the staking technician to design electrical distribution facilities to adequately serve the customers of the utility. It will train the novice as well as improve the skills of the experienced employee. Each student will be required to supply a personal copy of the National Electrical Safety Code and RUS Specifications. Each student should bring a scientific calculator and note taking materials to each seminar. Workbooks and manuals will be supplied for the specialized instruction.

This course is presented as part of GCSECA’s Education Program, and is free for those who are participants in the program. For those who are not, the registration fee will be $500.
