2012 Education Programs

All courses will be offered at the GCSECA office unless noted. Some courses have limited seating and will be filled in the order the registration forms are received.

As the registration opens for each course, a PDF version of the registration form will be attached to the site. In addition, hard copies of the form are sent to all GCSECA members when the registration opens.

Energy Management University – Ready to accept students in December 2011. Each utility's EMU designated contact must complete the student enrollment spreadsheet. New employees can be added once a month.

New NESC Review – With Bob Witter on Tuesday, January 10; Wednesday, January 11; and until noon on Thursday, January 12. New NESC book required. 

Annual Meter School – Held in Marana at Trico Electric Cooperative facilities on Tuesday, March 20; Wednesday, March 21; and Thursday, March 22. Now accepting registration forms. Form available here.

Covey Speed of Trust – Provided by AZ’s G&T authorized FranklinCovey instructors; limited to 25; on Wednesday, April 11.

NRECA Supervisory Courses (384.05 - Resolving Conflict through Negotiation & 385.05 - Motivating Employees; 2 courses on one-day) – With Terry Smiley on Wednesday, June 6.

NRECA Board Course (914.1 – Cooperative Communications and Public Opinion – The Director’s Perspective) – With Mary McLaury in Flagstaff on Thursday, July 26.

Annual Line School – Held in Willcox and Cochise Training Facilities on Tuesday, October 23, Wednesday, October 24; and Thursday, October 25. First day involves lineman rodeo.
